The encyclopedia on the 1932 – 1933 Famine in Ukraine is a priority within the framework of the State Program on 1932 – 1933 Famine-Holodomor in Ukraine, developed by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. The edition is going to be the first documentary and reference publication, as well as the basis for the future “Holodomor-33” Museum in Kyiv.
“The Holodomor Encyclopedia” is a joint project of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory and NASU Institute of History of Ukraine, with the involvement of experts from Ukraine, Russia, Australia, the USA, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Japan, Belarus, Moldova.
The duration of the project (Ukrainian edition): 2009 – 2013. The Project also includes the English version of the Encyclopedia.
